Our August 2017 session, Les instruments de l'orchestre, was a hit! We listened to The Planets by Holst and Prokofiev's Peter and the Wolf, made 5 percussion instruments, learned how to sing solfege with Kodaly hand symbols, learned to play Orff instruments while singing in a round, got a start on the recorder, and got up close to a violin, a bassoon, a trumpet, a trombone, and a banjo! We rocked out to Louis' guitar stylings, and had lots of fun outside, especially on water day!
