I'm passionate about assisting stressed out corporates and struggling heart-centred entrepreneurs who feel like their soul is dying to transform fear and self-doubt so they can stop 'hiding' and confidently take steps that align with their soul's calling to create a life of meaning, impact, and freedom. In 2006, I took a leap of faith and left a successful 16-year career in Marketing to pursue my purpose. At the time, horses were nowhere in the picture and in 2009, when I discovered they had incredible gifts to offer humans, I was terrified of them because of a traumatic experience I had with my horse Lady when I was a teenager. KNOWING in my soul that horses were calling me back home, I made it my mission to overcome my fear of them - all the while, holding the vision that I would one day own/operate a retreat centre with horses where people could come and be transformed whether they visited for an afternoon or a week. I travelled to Florida and began the work of overcoming my fears with Danielle Herb. By 2010, I became a Certified Facilitator of Equine Experiential Learning and with that foundation, embarked on a 3+-year travelling sabbatical, working with horses and people around the world to help me prepare for the next big leap. In July 2015, I moved from a 1-bedroom apartment to a 30-acre horse property and had 7 horses join me in less than a week! Since then, we've moved 3 times and we've had 2 horses transition and another one arrive. The Freedom Herd is made up of 7 horses (most former rescues) and they are my Dream team, as they support me in assisting clients who are in crisis or navigating difficult transitions to access clarity and peace of mind, as well as help them connect to the truth of who they really are and what they are truly capable of. And it's been my observation that when we are in crisis, it's a wake-up call from our soul - letting us know that something is out of alignment and it's time for a profound perspective shift. Whether I'm alongside the horses in the paddock - or speaking to you by phone/Zoom, my gift is being able to HOLD SPACE and facilitate profound perspective shifts that assist you to let go of whatever limiting beliefs/shame/guilt/unreleased trauma you're ready to release so that you can get to the work of expressing yourself freely and using your unique gifts and wisdom in service to the world.
