Whew! Well that was a fun day! It was our first donut day and it was exciting and fun to see the students RUNNING towards us to get a donut. They were very respectful and excited. It was so fun!!! And the Escape room truck was apparently a huge hit!

As always, thanks Evansburg Bakery for the life-changing donuts that simply dissolve into pure joy as you eat them.

And thanks to the parent volunteers who came to help hand them out! So fun!!!

The Parent Council at the High School needs YOU.
We're struggling. We have empty executive positions and our meetings are empty...

We have a new Chair and Co-Chair, and need a Secretary, and members at large. One hour a month, and you get to hear about all the things happening and in planning.

Mainly we manage Anchor Club (candies and school supplies to the students once a month), help supply Breakfast Nook, sponsor events at the school, including donut day and ice cream day, and run the annual evening of Enchantment. Every other year (or so) we do the casino and then use the money to buy athletic supplies (archery equipment!) and more for the school.

Please consider joining! The new Chair and Co-Chair keep a tight schedule. Regular meetings will be an hour or less. We need you.

A big THANK YOU to the Alberta Beach Community League for their generous donation to OJSH's Breakfast Nook! Without community support we would not be able to do as much as we do for the students. From healthy snacks to necessities for learning, and yes, treats, we help support students in partnership with our community and volunteers.

You rock.
