AgSmart gives producers the chance to see that technology in action, ask questions and understand how it actually works in the field. Seeing it firsthand changes the conversation from what’s possible to what’s practical.

Every season leaves behind lessons about what worked, what didn’t and where small changes could lead to better outcomes. So, what adjustments are you making based on last year’s lessons?

AgSmart isn’t just about walking the grounds and collecting brochures. It’s about seeing ideas, tools and technology in action, asking questions and understanding how innovation actually fits into real farm operations. The goal is practical learning producers can take home and use with confidence.

Calving season is underway for many Alberta producers. From checking facilities and equipment to reviewing nutrition and health protocols, the work done now plays a big role in calf health and cow recovery. Cold weather adds another layer of complexity, which is why planning, monitoring and having the right tools in place can make all the difference. This time of year is about setting animals up for a strong start and setting operations up for a smoother season ahead.

Throwback to one of the many full speaker sessions at AgSmart 2025. Speaker sessions make up a big part of the expo, and they’re something attendees look forward to and consistently find value in year after year. Sharing ideas, asking questions and learning together remains at the core of the AgSmart experience.
