Grade 9 Orientation – Friday, August 28! 🎉

A reminder that all Grade 9 students are invited to orientation this Friday at 9:00 AM. Please meet in the Theatre.

No buses will be running, so students will need to arrange their own transportation.

Please remember to bring your school supplies, as lockers will be assigned. You will also receive your class schedules.

New Grade 10–12 Students: You are also invited to join us! We will have a separate tour and orientation set up specifically for you. Please meet us in the Theatre on Friday at 9:00 AM!

We’re excited to welcome everyone and get the new school year started!

The École Olds High School office will be closed as of 11:30 am on June 26 and we will re-open on August 26 at 1:00 pm

Grade 9 Orientation - August 28, 2026

École Olds High School is excited to announce a new opportunity for our students during the 2026/2027 school year. We are piloting a Dance Academy and are looking for names of those interested. If your student is interested in participating please click the links below.

** This pilot academy will have a minimum number of students required to run. As such, we are gathering names of interest before the summer to see if it is feasible to pilot in 2026/2027.

Things are 'cooking' in Ms Leppa's Foods classes! Grade 9, 11, and 12 students are learning lifelong skills about recipes, cooking, budgeting and meal planning through classroom and lab work this month!

Ms Leatherdale’s English 10s have been in the throws of Shakespeare while Mr Brown’s shop 9 students have been constructing and designing custom shelves!
