Assignment: “The school would be nothing without…”
Just a few quick glimpses of the people and moments that remind me why I love our school.
The first good morning at morning supervision.
The final goodbye at the end of the day.
Two of my favourite places to be — getting to welcome our students and families in, and send them home again.
The sound of students filling the hallways. The energy. The laughter. The life they bring into this building.
The smiles waiting for you at the front office.
The staff who notice, care, encourage, help, and love our students in a thousand little ways that will probably never make a lesson plan.
Our masterful teachers, doing what they do best — teaching, challenging, believing in kids, and helping them become who God created them to be.
And woven through all of it, our Catholic faith. The greatest gift we get to share. A reminder that what we do here has always been about so much more than academics — it is about seeing Christ in one another and choosing, every day, to serve and love one another well.
Because a school is so much more than a building.
It is the people.
The moments.
The little things, every single day, that make it ours. 🤍
