We spent the weekend at So much beauty all around us. The amount of snow that fell was a bit of a surprise! ❄️☃️🌨

With practice, we can see that our wounded child is not only us.
Our wounded child may represent several generations.

Our mother may have suffered throughout her life. Our father may have suffered. Perhaps our parents weren’t able to look after the wounded child in themselves.

So when we’re embracing the wounded child in us, we are embracing all the wounded child in our past generations. This practice is not a practice for ourselves alone, but for numberless generations of ancestors and descendants.

Spending a beautiful day out in nature and seeing all of these gorgeous fall colors reminds me of our solar plexus chakra. Located in the liver, intestines and stomach area. The energetics of this chakra is that our gut hears our truth and feels our desires. It is our will center and place of power where our individuality asserts itself. It’s about the digestive system. The affirmation for this chakra is; I honor my truth and my body. I am powerful beyond measure. I invite you to remind yourselves of this daily! 🍂🍁
