Some interesting things about me.

I found Islam alhamdulillah without the struggle.
From a place of positivity.
I enjoy walks and listening to productive stuff.
I'm ridiculously delusional about explosive success.
I'm forever grateful that I get to do what I do. Alhamdulillah..

I'm a curriculum designer. I take "boring" topics and make them awesome. And then sell them to educators, schools and homeschooling parents.

Change yourself first. Be excited. Be cool. Be curious. Be kind. Be funny.

Muslims are not supposed to ask questions.
Muslims are not meant to be curious.
Muslims are serious all the time.
Muslims don't need to have fun.

Even when we don't say these statements out loud, we imply them. Pretty loudly.

And kids? They're like radars. They pick up on signals REALLY REALLY well.

Change starts with you. The kids will follow.

The questions are not the problem. It's that we don't know the right adaab of asking the questions.

That's why we teach our students one important line...

'Ask to learn, never to prove'.

And that is how we design all our curriculum. We encourage questioning.

Because if the Quran allows it, who are we to not?

Saw the most beautiful moon today. In daylight.

And I couldn't help but think of Muhammad (sallalahi wasalaam) telling the Arabs of 14 centuries ago that the moon's light was borrowed in a revelation.

Imagine what the sentiment would have been then? Some may have laughed. Some may have called him crazy. Some may have outright used this as proof that the Quran and his message was wrong.

But the final victory is always Allah's.
