Honoring the outstanding contributions of women like Mrs. Stewart, Executive Director of Women’s Federation for World Peace Canadian Chapter, who presented a book to Ms. Zaidi. Let’s draw inspiration from their selflessness and kindness as we celebrate women this week.

🌙 An evening layered with meaning.
Our very own Gavel Club hosted an intimate iftar last week where students, parents and teachers gathered to break fast, learn about Ramadan, started off with reading short ayats of the Qur’an and reflect on their meaning together — a reminder that in Ramadan, reflection, sacrifice, multi-tasking, studying and creating a sense of community can all naturally weave into one another.
The evening began beautifully with Sumaiyah and Ayaan’s graceful recitations, while Yusuf Imran’s 3D-printed lanterns, created for the Gavel Club fundraiser, brought a quiet glow to the room, a small but powerful symbol of hope and festivity in the heart of Ramadan during one of the darkest times in History.
A heartfelt thank you to our students for curating such a thoughtful evening; our second annual Iftar was a success and also taught all our students breaking fast can be paired with humility, multiculturalism and a shared sense of unity. ✨
