Hey guys, this week I will be selling bracelets, necklaces, and keychains in support of the Alexis Fletcher IWK Mental Health Memorial endowment. All the funds go towards supporting mental health in Nova Scotia through the IWK hospital. Alexis was an amazing person who struggled with mental illness everyday. Unfortunately, she lost her battle. While her passing was no one's fault, it could have been prevented had there of been a better system in NS. Alexis did not receive proper treatment for her mental illness, even after numerous cries for help. Her story has inspired people to understand and support mental health in NS. I will be selling the jewelry for $20.00 each in the atrium all week during fourth lunch. If you're interested in purchasing the jewelry, you can order the piece through me and I will have them sent in from NS. The flowers on the jewelry were drawn by Alexis and the semi-colon on the back represents a sentence an author could have ended but chose not to. Alexis was one of my best friends and she deserves to have her story shared. Please support!
