Happy Pride Month! 🌈
At Appleby College, we are committed to fostering a community where everyone feels seen, valued, and supported.
Last month, our students, faculty, and staff came together for Pride Week, celebrating inclusion, allyship, and community building through activities and fundraising initiatives. From rainbow armbands on the playing field and Pride Dress Down Day to bracelet and button making, ally pins, and student-led fundraising in support of The ROCK, a local 2SLGBTQ+ youth programming organization, our community demonstrated the power of coming together in support of one another.
The week concluded with the unveiling of our new Pride Friendship Bench—a collaborative project created by students, faculty, and facilities staff that serves as a lasting symbol of belonging and support at Appleby.

Another incredible season for the Girls’ Rugby program at Appleby! This year, the program continued to grow in strength and numbers, fielding three full teams and showcasing the talent, determination, and spirit of our student athletes. The season wrapped up with outstanding results at the CISAA Championships on May 20 at Ridley College, where both our Junior and Division 1 teams earned well‑deserved medals. The Juniors brought home silver, while our Senior D1 team captured gold, marking a proud moment for the entire program. From skill development to team culture, the athletes demonstrated resilience, sportsmanship, and heart every step of the way.
