Today, we recognize the ongoing trauma caused by residential schools, and remember those who were lost, survivors and their families. It is also an opportunity to commit to the process of truth, reconciliation and justice with Indigenous people across Canada, as well as take action to heal and build a better future together.

Make it a routine and a habit to tidy up after using toys. It teaches your kids to value their environment and home.

Playing an instrument is like a workout for your brain! It helps enhance brain function in children, which leads to improved brain structure with the formation of new neural connections. Try introducing an instrument to your child even for fun!

Don't be afraid to use big words with your child! It's important to speak to them in a clear, articulate voice that promotes conversation and increased vocabulary.
