At Smart Little Children Daycare Centre we believe that our families deserve the best. We set and maintain high quality child care standards. It is important to us that our service and educational programs meet the needs of the children, families, and community we serve.
We currently have an opening for one B Class School Bus Driver to operate our 19 passenger vehicle, driving children from daycare to local schools as well as picking them up at the end of the school day and bringing them back to the daycare. Starting rate is $21.00/hr with optional benefits. Start date is January 6th, 2020 with working hours 7:15am-9:15am and 2:15pm-4:15pm Monday through Friday. 20 hours per week are guaranteed with potential for more. Congratulations to our 37 graduating smart little children! We wish you the best of luck in kindergarten and hope you have a bright and prosperous future 🎉🇨🇦🎊

It’s very important for families to choose the right kindergarten program for their child. We’d like to let families know that as of September, 19 we’ll be re-opening our full day kindergarten program. There are many benefits of a full day kindergarten program in a licensed childcare facility, such as small class size and low teacher-to-child ratio; individualized attention; more time for instruction and practice; greater developmental competence and less frustration in children; greater parents involvement and satisfaction; advancing skills in math, language/reading and handwriting; fewer transportation and before/after school arrangement difficulties for parents; meals will be provided. Ensuring that each child makes a successful transition from kindergarten to school is a goal for parents and teachers. Our kindergarten program will help children prepare for school, develop a love of learning, develop skills useful for life and provide a full day of high quality care and learning in an environment that children are familiar with.

SLC daycare has been operating for more than 9 years and had expended from 49 to 149 children in just a few years, due to excellent care and a high quality program. We value everyone’s opinion no matter if it’s positive or negative, there is always room for growth and we’re open to any ideas as well as suggestions. We always deal with any concerns raised by our staff and families in a timely manner. We have qualified and experienced staff who have been working at SLC for many years, so any families who have questions are more than welcome to talk to them. We have families who’ve been at SLC since 2009-2010 until now, as they bring their second, third and even forth children in, and children attend our school age program as well. Happy Fether’s Day to all fathers and grandfathers! It was a pleasure to celebrate Father’s Day with all our families during our annual Fathers Day breakfast. We thank everyone who was able to attend Father’s Day celebration and looking forward to seeing everyone at the next SLC Daycare events!

Halloween pumpkin contest last week, by parents votes winners were BB-8 1st place by school age group, hedgehog 2nd place by preschool 3 and witch shoes 3rd place by senior preschool. The kids also visited Oakville Senior Citizens Residence for annual Halloween Parade trick or treating and performance.
