What a wonderful morning celebrating the incredible parents who make our school community so special!

We were delighted to host our Volunteer Appreciation Breakfast and thank the many volunteers who generously give their time throughout the year. From helping in classrooms and chaperoning trips to supporting events and working behind the scenes, your dedication has a lasting impact on our boys and our school.

It was especially heartwarming to see so many volunteers joined by their sons, making the morning even more meaningful through shared conversation and connection.

Congratulations to our Volunteers of the Year: Melissa, Hadiya, and Kristen, as well as all of our Class Parents and P.A. Executives. Your contributions are truly invaluable.

Thank you to every volunteer who supports Linbrook in countless ways throughout the year. We appreciate you and all that you do!

The Linbrook community came together to celebrate our Senior Kindergarten boys at a warm, emotional graduation ceremony. One standout moment was when our Grade 8 students ceremonially passed their blazers to the SK graduates, a beloved tradition that beautifully marked the students’ move to the next chapter. Parents also loved hearing about their sons’ future career aspirations.
Congratulations to our SK boys on reaching this important milestone. They put in so much effort all year, and we are incredibly proud of their progress. Well done, SK! Keep growing, exploring and enjoying all that Grade 1 will bring. From everyone at Linbrook, congratulations!

The Grade 7 Ottawa trip was three days of non-stop energy, teamwork and unforgettable moments! From climbing at Altitude 5 and racing through Operation Mindfall to biking along the Rideau and exploring Parliament Hill, every day was packed with new experiences. We topped it off with museum highlights, bowling and a daring aerial course at Arbraska. We loved seeing how our students supported each other as they tried new things! In the end, they returned home with countless stories and stronger friendships!

The Grade 8 Vancouver trip was an unforgettable getaway full of laughter, camaraderie and nonstop memories. Highlights included Granville Island, crossing the Capilano Suspension Bridge, biking around Stanley Park and a scenic day in Whistler. We’re so proud of this crew! They returned home tired, happy and already sharing the photos and stories that’ll last a lifetime.

The Grades 5 & 6 boys enjoyed an overnight trip to Blue Mountain for outdoor fun, friendly competition and nonstop smiles! Students enjoyed gondola views, playscapes, climbing towers and Mill Pond adventures with full-access wristbands. Teams brought the energy at the Evening Mini Olympics on Kandahar Field before enjoying putting, canopy nets and chutes & loops. The trip was short but full of unforgettable moments and confidence-building challenges. Well done, boys!

What a tournament for our U-10 Softball team!

The boys went undefeated with a 3-0 record, showing incredible teamwork, smart base running, clutch pitching, strong defense and powerful hits! Beyond the wins, we’re especially proud of the sportsmanship, effort and heart they brought to every game. Well done, boys!

From Caterpillar to Butterfly! 🐛➡️🦋

Our Kindergarten classes had a magical experience observing the life cycle of butterflies through our Butterfly Release Program!

We watched in awe as tiny caterpillars grew, formed their chrysalises, and finally emerged as beautiful butterflies. Then, we set them free into the wild — a joyful moment filled with wonder, giggles, and tiny goodbyes.

This hands-on science lesson taught us about growth, change, and the beauty of nature. What a flutter-filled adventure!

Grades 1 and 2 recently spent the day at Mountsberg Conservation Area for an unforgettable outdoor learning experience focused on owls and birds of prey. From coming “nose to beak” with live owls to exploring the wildlife walkway trail, examining bioartefacts and enjoying a puppet show, the boys were fully immersed in hands-on discovery.

A special thank you to the Mountsberg Conservation guides for leading such an engaging program, and to our parent volunteers for helping make the day such a success.

House pride was on full display at Linbrook’s Sports Day!

From tug-of-war, potato sack races and soccer challenges to nonstop team cheers and friendly competition, students gave every event their all while cheering on their fellow house members.

After a BBQ lunch, the competition continued with afternoon matchups that kept the excitement going until the very end. Congratulations to Blue House for taking the top spot this year! 👏

A huge thank you to our incredible staff and teachers for making Sports Day such a memorable celebration for our boys.
