Today, CEFA Early Years School recognizes the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation and Orange Shirt Day.

We honour the children who never returned home, Survivors of residential schools, and their families and communities, while recognizing the lasting impacts of the residential school system.

September 30 is a day to listen, learn and reflect on our shared responsibility toward truth and reconciliation.

We encourage our community to continue learning through Indigenous-led resources from the National Centre for Truth and Reconciliation and the Orange Shirt Society.
