Last our Casa students (Year 2,and Year 3) students enjoyed a fun field trip to the Oakville museum. The bus ride alone was enough to make everyone’s day! There was lots of excitement, plenty of waving out the windows. The children explored fascinating artifacts and enjoyed discovering how people lived in the past. We also spent some time outside enjoying the beautiful gardens, each child had the chance to plant their own little plant to bring back to school. It was a day full of learning, adventure, and happy memories. 🌱💚🌿✨

We’ve been fascinated by learning about birds. 🐦 This was a particularly exciting experience for our Casa students who had a first hand learning experience about exploring a robin’s nest. 🪺

🦅🌳Last week we enjoyed a nature walk for two purposes 1 we wanted to collect sticks for building our own birds nest and we also collected leaves to learn about the shapes and names found in our botany cabinet. 💚🌿🌱

We have been investigating and learning about bugs. even the bugs that people don’t particularly like. But we have found the most fascinating bug in to be the caterpillar (even through we found an invasive species, we still are quite intrigued.
