Hi, I’m Kristen, Director and Owner of The Owl’s Nest Montessori-Inspired Preschool in Oakbank.

We opened in January 2025 at 582 Balsam Crescent. Our classroom is open and bright with over 2000 square feet for children to explore.

I’ve always loved working with children and have been in early childhood education for over 15 years.

I believe that children learn better through hands-on materials and the ability to freely move around the classroom choosing activities that interest them.

Registration is open:
Ages : 2-6years (Must be fully potty trained)

A.m. class 9:00- 11:45

We love when the children are so focused on their work!

The Metal Insets help develop pencil control, concentration, and hand strength by tracing and coloring different shapes. This prepares children for writing while encouraging creativity and focus.

Learning rhyming words helps children develop listening skills and phonemic awareness. Recognizing words that sound alike, such as cat, hat, and bat, builds early reading skills and supports language development in a fun and engaging way.

📚✏️ Enrollment is Open for September 2026,

We currently have a few openings in our Montessori-Inspired preschool, where children learn at their own pace in a mixed-age, The program focuses on early literacy, math, science, practical life skills, sensory activities, and social-emotional development in a calm and nurturing setting.

Through guided activities and interactive learning, children develop important school-readiness skills. Such as reading, writing, and math, a strong foundation for future academic success.

Montessori-Inspired environment helps support curiosity, and free movement.
