Last week, the Gr. 3 students travelled to Lang Pioneer Village and stepped back in time to see how the Early Settlers and the Indigenous Peoples used to live and different tools that were important for life in the 1800s. They even got a chance to see what school life (and recess) was like back then! Such a fun day learning about the past!

The St. Paul School Talent Show was a big success once again! Thank you to all of our brave students for showcasing their talents for the whole school! Even the staff joined in on the fun on stage! A HUGE THANK YOU to Mrs. Brown, Mrs. Britton, Mme. Byrnes and Mrs. Lac for organizing this fun event, to all the helpers who moved things on and off the stage and to ALL the performers for practicing and showing off their skills! God has given us many talents in Norwood!

The Gr. 8 vs. Staff Volleyball Game was held at lunch recess last week. As much as the Gr. 8's tried, they couldn't get past the staff in this game! There were some great rallies though and lots of cheering!

Tomorrow, they'll try their luck again in the Annual Gr. 8 vs. Staff Baseball game. Who will come out as winners this time?! Stay tuned!

A few weeks ago, our students competed at the Holy Cross Track and Field Meet in Peterborough. It was a very hot day and everyone competed well. A few of our athletes came home with 1st place ribbons and our Junior Boys Relay Team placed 1st in their race! A big thank you to Mrs. Doherty, Mrs. Logan and Mr. Bidgood for cheering them on. Way to go Flames!
