The Polar Vortex will huff and puff but will not stop our dedicated crew. Thanks to all who pitched in at 3°C and windy as F to prep the backyard garden. The giant hugelkultur beds are working as intended to deflect some of the crazy wind ripping through here right now. Kale, lettuce, and spinach will be going in the ground soon :)

First local harvest of the season. The sunchokes (Jerusalem Artichokes) are huge! Our garlic from last fall stored really well despite being frozen over the winter. Yum! Lots more to feast on :)
