Congratulations to my student Justin on receiving an offer from the music program at Western University and York University! 🌟

Two years ago, he was only at a Grade 4 level. At that time, we were still working from the very basics. It’s incredible to see that, just two years later, he has successfully prepared a full audition program.

Being able to accompany and take part in a student’s musical journey is truly a rare and meaningful experience. I sincerely wish him continued passion for music and an even broader, more exciting path ahead in his university life. 🎹✨

Congratulations to my student Kiki on achieving the ABRSM ARSM Diploma in Performance, awarded with Distinction (45/50)! 🎉🎉🎉

The ARSM requires candidates to present a 30-minute recital program, featuring repertoire from the Baroque, Classical, and Romantic periods. It not only demands strong technical ability and performance stability, but also a mature understanding of different musical styles and the ability to communicate the musical character and emotions of each work with sensitivity and depth.

It has been a joy to witness her dedication and growth throughout this journey. I am incredibly proud of her achievement and look forward to seeing her continue to shine on her musical path.❤️

By giving children the chance to step onto the stage, you gave them more than a performance: you gave them courage, expression, and a voice through music. Music is such a powerful companion in childhood.

🎄Christmas is finally here!

The season invites a gentler rhythm: Less rushing, more presence, and moments that feel quietly meaningful ✨

As the temperature drops, pause, keep warm,
and draw closer to the people who matter most.

May this Christmas be filled with music, smiles,
and moments that stay in your heart long after the season ends.🎶🎄✨

After six months of preparation, from selecting repertoire to daily practice, I decided to make good use of this summer, while my students were away traveling, to challenge myself:)

A 56-minute solo piano recital is never easy. FRSM places extremely high demands on both interpretation and technique, and in Hong Kong, usually only a handful of people pass each year. I’m grateful to say I’ve finally reached the “summit”! 🏔️

Looking back on more than twenty years of my piano journey, I’ve been inspired by so many teachers, each of whom has been deeply important. I would especially like to thank Prof. Niccolò Ronchi for his invaluable guidance throughout this preparation.

This recognition is not the end. My passion for learning and teaching will always continue. ❤️🎶
