Our students had an incredible time participating in the One Ability Games!

The event brought together students from across the community for a day of teamwork, movement, and fun. Through a variety of inclusive activities, our students had the opportunity to challenge themselves, build confidence, make new connections, and celebrate the joy of participation.

We are so proud of the enthusiasm, sportsmanship, and encouragement our students showed throughout the day. Thank you to One Ability for creating such a positive and empowering experience for everyone involved!

Our Grade 7 students recently enjoyed an inspiring visit to the Vancouver Art Gallery!

Students had the opportunity to explore a variety of exhibits, discover different artistic styles, and engage in meaningful discussions about creativity, expression, and storytelling through art. Experiences like these help bring learning beyond the classroom and encourage students to think critically, ask questions, and see the world from new perspectives.

Thank you to the Vancouver Art Gallery for a wonderful day of learning and inspiration!

Our Grade 8 students recently headed to WildPlay for a day filled with adventure, teamwork, and stepping outside of their comfort zones!

From climbing through obstacle courses high in the trees to encouraging one another through every challenge, students showed resilience, courage, and lots of laughter along the way. Experiences like these help build confidence, strengthen friendships, and create unforgettable memories outside of the classroom.

We are so proud of our students for embracing the experience with such positivity and determination!

Last week, a group of our high school students and staff volunteered with Plenty of Plates, where they helped prep, serve, and clean up the noon meal.

Plenty of Plates is rooted in fostering connection, purpose, pride, resilience, and real impact, not only for those receiving the meal, but also for those preparing it.

We are so proud of our students for showing up with compassion, joy, and dedication while giving back to the community!

The Heron students have been busy getting creative in woodworking! Recently, they enjoyed making their own planters and have also been learning how to safely use the chop saws as part of their Social Studies projects. It’s been wonderful to see students build confidence, develop new skills, and bring their ideas to life through hands-on learning.
