From the Iranian People to the United States, Israel, and Their Leaders
To the brave soldiers of the United States and Israel, and to President Donald Trump and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu:
For decades, the Iranian people have suffered under a brutal regime that silenced our voices, oppressed our women, imprisoned our youth, and crushed our dreams of freedom. Many of us have lived in fear for most of our lives, watching our country fall deeper into darkness.
Today, we want the world to hear a message that many Iranians carry in their hearts: thank you.
Thank you to the American and Israeli troops who have risked their lives. Thank you to President Donald Trump for standing firmly against tyranny. Thank you to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and the people of Israel for supporting the Iranian people’s struggle for freedom and dignity.
Your courage has given hope to millions who felt forgotten by the world. Your actions reminded us that the fight against oppression is not ours alone. We know that the road to freedom is long and difficult, but every step taken against tyranny brings us closer to a future where Iran can once again stand proud among the free nations of the world.
We dream of an Iran where children grow up without fear, where women are free, where religion is not forced, and where our people can speak, vote, and live without oppression.
To those who have stood with us in our darkest hours: the Iranian people will never forget.
May the day soon come when a free Iran can extend its hand in friendship and peace to the United States, Israel, and all nations that believe in liberty.

Today at our rally in Vancouver, we Iranians sang in gratitude for your hard efforts. Let this moment be a turning point toward freedom, dignity, and self-determination for the people of Iran.

Happy Valentine’s Day and Family Day to all the beautiful people of British Columbia — my neighbours, my city, my community, my friends, and my family.
Today carries many emotions. While Valentine and Family days are a celebration of love, it is also a time of remembrance for the Iranian community, marking the 40th day after a tragic massacre in which over 100,000 Iranians lost their lives. It is a Memorial Day — a day to honor their lives, their happiness, their dreams, and their hope for their country’s future.
It also brings to mind the deep sorrow of the families who lost nine children at Tumbler Ridge Secondary School. We can only imagine the pain and heartbreak their loved ones have endured.
In moments like these, we are reminded that love is not only about celebration — it is also about remembrance, unity, compassion, and strength. We honor those who are no longer with us by carrying forward their wishes: to live fully, to care for one another, and to build a kinder, more hopeful future.
Today, may we hold space for grief and for love at the same time. May we celebrate life deeply, cherish our families and friends, and stand together as one community — with hope for brighter days ahead. ❤️
