After the great success of the first one, we have now collaborated with to bring you round two!
Just like last time we welcome dancers of all styles, and are ⚡️AMPED⚡️to see the different movement that will be tapped into with this incredible music bumpin. It brought such profound joy to see what came out of the first one. Truly magical stuff. You can also come and just chill and listen (there are couches now!) or work on whatever you’d like.
This is an incredible new space for us to utilize. We’re honoured to get to share and expand what we’ve been cultivating. Please do not hesitate to reach out with any questions or inquiries. Any input or feedback is appreciated, we want to do this to it’s fullest. Much love and looking forward to seeing you there!

🗣️ This Sunday afternoon (December 15th, 2024) and I, with special guest will be hosting an indoor open session for two hours, for FREE.
Welcoming everyone of all styles but with southern trap music being played and celebrated throughout, the range of expression is gonna be CRAZY! This is put on to open the doors to dancers who train in other styles to come experience this incredible music and exchange in a safe (and warm) space with those who have been practicing Memphis Jookin locally.
This is a new concept we’re experimenting with and we greatly appreciate every contribution to the community we’re working on building (even just sharing this with someone who may be interested is significant!). This is an OPEN session. Come and go as you please, dance or just vibe and enjoy the 🔥 I got for ya 👂s. All for the love of the music and culture.
*This is open to all ages however the music will be explicit and contain mature subject matter*
Stay warm and keep cool.
⚡️AMPED⚡️‼️

Memphis Jookin’ Intro Progressive at Robson Square in Vancouver BC, May 2024
We will go over basic steps, and over the month evolve them through the layering of techniques and concepts. Building to a special choreography class at the end incorporating what we have developed.
The primary goal of these classes is to share the love and knowledge of the culture in a safe and welcome setting open to all. Regardless of skill level or any other factor I am striving to support anyone who wishes to educate themselves about the style and dance.
Memphis Jookin’ is immensely sacred. It is truly an honour to educate about it and uplift with the power it possesses.
If you’ve ever wanted to learn to dance to trap music, improve your mind-body connection (especially in terms of footwork and weight control), or explore a less traditional means of expression, this could be a great fit for you!
Please do not hesitate to reach out to me via direct message with any questions or inquiries you may have! Whether it’s about the style or the classes specifically I’d be thrilled to discuss.
Much love
