Acclaimed as “one of the most adventurous groups uniting Eastern and Western musical traditions”, the Orchid Ensemble will present a program embracing a variety of styles ranging from Taiwanese and Chinese music, World Music, New Music to Creative Improvisation.

Throwback Thursday!

On February 5th, our students enjoyed a fantastic and fun-filled evening at Vancouver Opera’s ‘Così fan tutte’ dress rehearsal.

Previous to this evening, the students also gained a behind-the-scenes perspective while attending the orchestral Sitzprobe, learning about the production process and observing professionals working in the industry. This included some of our own faculty members in the opera chorus and orchestra.
