The countdown is on!

Less than 2 weeks until the first day of school on Tuesday, September 8! We can't wait to welcome our students back for another exciting year of learning, growth, friendship, and fun.

Over the next two weeks, we'll be sharing helpful reminders and everything you need to know to get ready for the first day.

From July 5-10th, Georgia and Kara represented the Province of BC at the SDCCS (ScotDance Canada Championship Series) 2026 event in Moncton, New Brunswick. They spent four full days dancing among some of the very best in the country. Both girls gave their all on stage, came away with many well-earned medals, and showed tremendous determination and resilience throughout the week.

They faced challenges with courage, pushed themselves to grow, and should be incredibly proud of their efforts. Beyond the competitions, they built new friendships and embraced the warmth and hospitality of the East Coast—creating memories that will last a lifetime.

A heartfelt thank you to their families for the time, commitment, and support you continue to invest in your talented daughters. Your encouragement makes opportunities like this possible, and it truly shows. We are already looking forward to SDCCS 2027 which will take place next July in Edmonton and a number of new dance families will be joining us. Ms. Munro

Congratulations to the Lions Gate Christian Academy graduating class of 2026!

This week, we gathered for a very special and intimate Grade 12 Commencement Ceremony as we celebrated the graduating Class of 2026. Surrounded by family, friends, staff, and classmates, our graduates reflected on their journey, shared memories, and marked an important milestone together.

The evening was especially meaningful, providing an opportunity to honour each graduate individually and celebrate the unique contributions they have made to our school community. We are incredibly proud of all they have accomplished and look forward to seeing how God will guide them in the next chapter of their lives.

Another wonderful event we celebrated was our High School Awards Ceremony, recognizing students for their outstanding achievements in academics, athletics, and service to our school and community. It was a special opportunity to honour the hard work, dedication, leadership, and Christ-like character our students have demonstrated throughout the year.

Congratulations to all of our award recipients and to every student who has contributed to making this a successful year. We are proud of all you have accomplished and look forward to all that is ahead for you.

Last week we also celebrated our Intermediate Year-End Recognition Ceremony, recognizing the hard work, leadership, and accomplishments of our students throughout the school year. We are proud of the dedication, growth, and character they have demonstrated both inside and outside the classroom.

Congratulations to all of our intermediate students on a successful year. We look forward to seeing all the amazing things you'll accomplish next year!

Last week, we celebrated our Primary Year-End Recognition Ceremony and took time to honour the growth, achievements, and wonderful character of our youngest students. From academic milestones to acts of kindness and perseverance, we are so proud of all they have accomplished this year.

Congratulations to all of our primary students as they wrap up another fantastic year of learning, friendship, and fun!

Our Grade 4's partnered with the Hope Club to host a bake sale to support Reach Out To Africa! Together we raised $987.50!

Thank you to everyone who baked, donated and bought at the bake sale!

A huge thank you to our PAC for a fun surprise for the students last week! was on site at LGCA to provide a delicious treat for everyone.
