Director Jeff Barnaby, who helped Indigenous filmmakers dream bigger, dies at 46 Barnaby, who helped shape modern Indigenous cinema with “Rhymes for Young Ghouls” and “Blood Quantum,” has died at age 46 after a battle with cancer.

Four of our IDF students accompanied me to the masterclass conversation with Academy Award winning costume designer, Deborah L. Scott. She won the Academy award for Titanic, and she's currently working on the 2 new Avatar features with James Cameron. It's great to spend time with one of the best in the world at her craft and profession!

Our first year class received expert filed sound recording techniques from Emmy award winning instructor, Lisa Kolisnyk this week!
