"After the first one-week camp, parents asked me if there are other coding camps using C3D as their kids seemed really interested in VR coding using C3D”

This is what our wonderfully talented and kids favourite instructor, Jasmine, shared with us last week.

This is the thing about C3D. We always hear kids loved the platform and they want to continue learning VR coding with C3D. We don’t do much marketing, but our individual licence sales spike after these camps. That’s because kids asked for it after the camp, and the parents purchased the subscription so that their kids can continue to explore VR coding.

Feel like missing out? Don’t worry. We have a few seats left in these unique, educational, and fun VR Coding camps.

Fun packed C3D VR Coding Camps are happening this month Capilano University.
Kids are having massive fun learning to code, creating VR stories and games using 3D models they have designed.

Team C3D is happy to share some exciting news with you.

1. Clone feature is here! With this new feature, your students can copy and paste existing code blocks to a new world. Use the new “Clone” button on the menu bar to copy code blocks from another world. Teachers can also let students start their project with a preset code by adding the ID to Project description.

This feature will be available in 2022-2023 school license, but we already made it available to existing C3D School users! Go check it out on your school site by going to the Teacher side > Project > Click + to add a new project. Or by opening an empty project, and clicking the “Clone” button on the menu bar.

2. We have refined and improved steps and logic for our lesson modules. It’s much easier to follow the instructions, and complete the learning of each module! This update is also available in existing school accounts from this week.

3. We are very excited to announce C3D Oculus beta is coming soon.

This new C3D product lets you use Oculus Quest 2 or any Oculus headset with Oculus Browser to view and experience the C3D VR world instead of cardboard (phone) VR headsets. The beta version of this product will be free for you to try. To receive the update for C3D Oculus beta, sign up at https://codeca.ck.page/714c43bb7f

Meet Tomoko, our Virtual Reality Coding instructor!
👩‍💻
As a female entrepreneur and teacher, Tomoko was looking for a way to make coding class FUN and ENGAGING for all students (including girls).
Tomoko co-founded .io which is a cloud-based virtual reality programming platform. The platform empowers educators, making it easier for teachers to teach virtual reality and coding and inspires students!
With the platform, students can bring visual code blocks to life and create their own VR worlds!
Tomoko is also an experienced software program manager and educator. Her background is impressive and we're really happy to have her on board.
You can check out the article she wrote about VR Coding on our website (under our "Blog" section). 🙂
