Intro to Interior Design - Short Course

Our Story....

Jude Barkley is an accomplished and professional interior designer. She graduated in 1998 from a two year Interior Design Program in Southern California, and then went on to study Marketing & Business Development. After 5 exciting and very successful years running her design-build business in California, Jude made the move back to Canada in 2008.

From 2008 to 2011 Jude created and instructed the first Intro to Interior Design short course at Holland College in her hometown of Charlottetown, PEI. Since relocating to Victoria, BC Jude accepted the position of Program Co-ordinated for the full-time Interior Design program at the Pacific Design Academy, and held that position for 2 years. While at the academy, Jude re-structured her Intro to Interior Design short course and offered it part-time for 6 seminars. Since leaving Pacific Design Academy, Jude has been working full-time in the design industry and continues to offer short courses and workshops whenever possible.

Professional Achievements:
*Culinary Institute of Canada/PEI: invited to teach the fundamentals of Restaurant Design to the 2nd year culinary students - 2009 & 2010
*Style At Home: chosen as one of 10 contributing designers - 2009
*Created, directed and hosted a 30 minute cable TV show - California - 2006
