We have events and campaigns for individuals to make friends, support the community, and learn how to be an ally.

A night for students and community members to come out and learn ASL in an informal setting. There is a 'no voice' policy at this event. There will be pads of paper and pens available to communicate if you are unsure of how to sign something.
This is an inclusive learning environment, anyone and everyone can attend regardless of their previous level of experience with ASL, we only ask that you respect the no voice rule. Snacks and light refreshments to be provided. Resources to take home will be available. This event will be the 3rd Tuesday of every month, with opportunity for more events to occur depending on attendance.

October is Selective Mutism Awareness Month! Selective mutism is an anxiety disorder in which a person who is normally capable of speech cannot speak in specific situations or to specific people. People with selective mutism aren’t trying to be rude or stuck up when they cannot speak in these situations. Remember: not all disabilities are visible and everyone’s experience is unique.

Come on out on Monday September 2 to the North Bay Annual Labour Day Picnic. Below is some information on the event.
