Tale as old as time: collective action gets the goods!

After four weeks of a cruel lockout by CMHA Cochrane-Timiskaming, frontline workers of OPSEU/SEFPO Local 631 have ratified a deal.

Workers fought hard to get concessions and clawbacks OFF the table and WON – also gaining wage increases across the board and enhanced benefits along the way.

These workers have been a north star in showing us what's possible with unity and resolve. 🌟 We know they're eager to get back to supporting their clients and their communities, knowing they have each others' backs. Congratulations!
