Our team has been hard at work preparing for camp. Katie, a third year Biotechnology student, has been creating cultural activities like beaded lanyards and medicine pouches, while Indigenous Youth STEM Lead Drew is finalizing exciting programming for 2 weeks of learning and discovery.
Delivered through Canadore College's First Peoples' Centre and as a proud ACTUA network member, this unique camp blends hands-on STEAM experiences with Indigenous knowledge, culture, and community.

Kikandaaswiwin Mookiisin means "knowledge springing forth," and this program is designed to empower youth by blending Indigenous traditions with modern innovation.
