Our team has been hard at work preparing for camp. Katie, a third year Biotechnology student, has been creating cultural activities like beaded lanyards and medicine pouches, while Indigenous Youth STEM Lead Drew is finalizing exciting programming for 2 weeks of learning and discovery.

Delivered through Canadore College's First Peoples' Centre and as a proud ACTUA network member, this unique camp blends hands-on STEAM experiences with Indigenous knowledge, culture, and community.

Kikandaaswiwin Mookiisin means "knowledge springing forth," and this program is designed to empower youth by blending Indigenous traditions with modern innovation.
Why this program stands out:
🎓Dual Credit: Earn both a High School and a College credit simultaneously—at no cost to you!.
💰100% FREE: The program is fully funded, and all learning resources are provided.
🛠️Hands-On Skills: From Coding and AI to Drum Making and Beading, participants gain practical skills for the future.
🌿Land-Based Learning: Explore Land Guardianship, Sustainability, and Water Knowledge through the lens of Traditional Ecological Knowledge (TEK).
