This is an historical page about the first High School in North Bay, (North Bay High School) later known as North Bay Collegiate Institute and Vocational School then Algonquin Composite School and now the site of École Secondaire Catholique Algonquin. NBCI&VS The photo on the right from 1963 shows the inside of the 1930 corridor's windows that was opened up to the third floor of the new wing during the reconstruction in 1972, the older wing (1912-23) did not had a third floor ; a narrow corridor was built in 1930 to link the sections of the school.
