And with that, the 2025-2026 season comes to an end.
We’d like to thank every one who came to our events and gave us constant support throughout the year. We can’t wait to show you what we got next year!
This year we managed to:
➡️ run trivia nights and jeopardy night 🎉
➡️ run a successful bottles and cans drive, collecting over 350 cans and 250 bottles 🍾
➡️ participate in Relay For Life, staying overnight, learning from others and fundraising over $200 in our small team of 3 🏝️
➡️ participate and assist in the first ever Masquerade Humanities Formal, and provided a pretty fun gift basket while at it 😉
➡️ attend Nipissing University’s Open House and meet the future of our streams 🫂
We wish all our leaving executives the best, we can’t wait to see what you will do in the future! We can’t wait to welcome what the 2026-2027 team will do. We hope to meet new faces and welcome our first years into the CRJS events!
Until next time Lakers 🕺🏻 Best of luck in your exams and summer fun. See you in the Fall!

Reposting for the North Bay Police Service:
In recognition of International Women’s Day, the North Bay Police Service is hosting a Women in Policing Information Session to encourage women to explore a career in policing.
This women-only session will feature a panel of women police officers who will share their experiences, career journeys, and insights into law enforcement. This evening will include a Q&A session, giving attendees the opportunity to ask questions and learn more about the profession in a supportive environment.
Participants will also have the chance to try the shuttle run, a component of police fitness testing, either by participating or watching a demonstration! Women interested in attending are encouraged to come on their own or bring a friend. Registration is required to confirm a spot but there is no cost to attend. See the link in our bio to register!
“International Women’s Day is an opportunity to celebrate the contributions of women in policing and inspire the next generation to consider this rewarding career,” said Chief Daryl Longworth of the North Bay Police Service. “We hope this session helps break down barriers, answer questions, and highlight the many opportunities available in policing.”
