We are wishing all of our MVP families a very HAPPY CANADA DAY! 🇨🇦 As the calendar turns the page to mark the first day of July, it also marks a very special beginning for two of our amazing Muskies! Please join our MVP staff in sharing endless appreciation and well wishes for these two remarkable educators who are officially retired!

Ms. Horsman is a remarkable teacher who has dedicated the last three decades, of her esteemed career, to the children and families of various NNDSB schools, and proudly spending the last three years as a Maple View Muskie. The positive ripple of her unwavering support of children and educators is endless. We are so grateful for her resolute dedication, her strong leadership as a Resource Teacher and her boundless compassion. She is one of a kind and we are all better because of her commitment to Maple View Public School! Without a doubt, Ms. Horsman is deserving of a retirement filled with joy and love, just like she's given to all of us for so long!

Mrs. L. aka Mrs. Lamoureux has served the students of Maple View Public School for the last two school years but her reputation as a caring, reliable, supportive and highly skilled Educational Assistant, within various schools of the NNDSB, far proceeded her time with us. Every educator, child and family who was supported by the forever patient, endlessly kind and amazingly skilled Mrs. L is grateful for her! We will miss her calm, composed and steady support but we are wishing her all the goodness she deserves and so much more as she turns her attention to a happy retirement!

Our MVP Food Drive is on! The North Bay Food Bank has dropped off our food collection bins and we are eager to fill them to the brim! Check out the list of items below for ideas!

Our MVP Muskies are eagerly preparing for our third annual Talent Show and this year, we've paired this special event with a Food Drive to support the North Bay Food Bank. Even if your schedule won't allow you to join us for the Talent Show, please consider donating to the Food Bank, either through monetary contribution or a non-perishable food item. We've closely partnered with the Food Bank to best understand what items they need. Items are listed in priority order below. THANK YOU FOR YOUR GENEROSITY!
