Thinking about adding an Additional Dwelling Unit (ADU) to your property? ๐
An ADU is a secondary dwelling unit on your property โ whether that's inside your main home or in an accessory building like a converted garage.
In North Bay's Urban Area, property owners can now have up to 3 ADUs on a single property.
ADU rules and permissions vary by municipality, so make sure to review your local zoning by-laws before moving forward with any plans. If you're in North Bay, visit northbay.ca or contact the City's zoning department for details.
