Still no news on whether medical issues will make classes impossible for a while. I have to wait for some test and even on the urgent list I guess it's about a 6 week wait. It's been so long, I miss the kids so much. I will let those already registered know asap and if all goes well we will start figuring out who able to come back and if there are openings I will start on the waiting list.

It has been a long year. I am really hoping to start classes after I get my vaccines. Do kids get them or is that still unknown territory?

I am just heartbroken. I have had to out our kids classes on hold yet again with all our world's problems. I miss my kids a lot. I have to really thank the parents for being so understanding. Praying we will be able to start a new session in the New Year.

It looks like we are going to begin classes soon as long as things don't start to look frightening again.
Sorry to those waiting to get into a group but we are full in all our classes and will be unless someone has to back out and give up their spot. I should explain to anyone waiting. Once your child gets a spot it is theirs until they quit the group. Most kids have been been coming a long time. We have had kids start in grade 3 (8 years old is the youngest we take) and only quit because they are off to university. The average is about 4 years so spots do not come up often. No promises but in March we might be able to start another beginner class depending on what happens be with our oldest group. Anyone interested please just keep in touch.
Thx to all. I am excited to see my kids. I have missed them so much. I am pretty attached to them. They are like nieces and nephews to me.

Hopefully we can get on with the classes that have been out on hold soon. I think it's best to wait until schools and other things open for a while and not just jump in just in case there is another serious wave ahead of us. Praying we start at mid to end if September.
I really have to thank the parents of my students. They have been wonderful and understanding of my situation.
I miss my artists.

I am feeling so lost without having my pottery kids coming for their classes. I miss them so much. I feel so attached to them, it is more like they are my nieces and nephews than just being my students. Many of them have been coming anywhere from 1 to 10 years. My kids that have started in grade 3 and are off to university so they HAVE to quit just break my heart. I see these kids more than my real nieces or nephews. This was to be Hannah K's last session. Just thinking about saying goodbye tears me up. Remembering those little ones with their excited expressions come their first day and seeing them become such mature, wonderful young ladies ( I have never had a boy make it through to grade 12....yet but Wyatt might be the first in a few years) is just beyond what I ever thought would happen when I started this. Oh crap, I am tearing up a bit.

I miss my pottery kids classes so much. Being home all the time is nothing new to me but not having them all coming over is tough. A few are working from home making a few things. Hopefully this will all end soon. Kids must be finding quarantine hard but hopefully they understand and are not too scared. It must be hard to explain this to the little ones. So often they say they get it but their little minds might be frightened. I love so many of them especially the ones who have been coming for years.

I have one opening in my Monday 5:30-7:00 beginner pottery class. Ages 8-11. The classes are 13 weeks, all clay, glazes, tools, supplies and firings are included for $300.00 no taxes.
Please call mid-afternoon or evenings for more information or to discuss joining. There is only one opening so it will be a first come situation.

Wow it is our last week of glazing, already another session is almost over. I will try to get some pictures of the kids stuff. There are a few VERY AMAZING pieces both in the older class and the younger ones.
Next session starts in March but I won't know about openings until my present students decide if they are keeping their spots.
It will be my last class with Hannah. She started in grade 3 and in the fall she is off to university.....I am going to miss who started as a little girl and now is my friend.

We started our classes this week. So far all is going great. I have my oldest kids working on something pretty hard and it's has started out quite impressive. It will take a while but they will manage I am positive. They are at different stages but I can see they will all do fabulous.
