What an incredible afternoon with the The Royal Canadian Artillery Band/La Musique de l'ARC!

Our time with the RCA Band was a tremendous success, and it was wonderful to see so many smiles on our students' faces throughout the experience. Students had the opportunity to learn from outstanding musicians, develop new skills, and gain valuable insights into music-making at a high level.

Most importantly, we hope they left feeling inspired to continue their musical journey. We are incredibly proud of how our students represented the NBCHS Band Program with their enthusiasm, engagement, and professionalism.

A heartfelt thank you to The Royal Canadian Artillery Band/La Musique de l'ARC for sharing their time, expertise, and passion for music with our students. It was truly an unforgettable experience!

Saskatchewan Music Educators Association - SMEA

🎶 Today is Music Education Day in Saskatchewan. It is a day to celebrate the incredible work of music educators across our division and province and the lasting impact music has on students, schools, and communities.

In an era of rising loneliness among youth, music programs help students build friendships, confidence, cultural understanding and stronger mental health in addition to fostering creativity.

Thank you to the dedicated music educators who provide learners of all ages and abilities access to inclusive, inspiring music programs. 🎵

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who came out to support the North Battleford Comprehensive High School Year-End Concert—your presence made the evening extra special for our students.

We are incredibly proud of them for showcasing their hard work, growth, and love of music. A highlight was the performance of Indigenous-composed and dedicated pieces, reflecting our commitment to honouring the voices of our Indigenous students and families.

A special thank you to Knowledge Keeper and Indigenous musician Jason Chamakese for his guidance and permission to perform these meaningful pieces on Treaty 6 Territory—the traditional lands of the Cree, Métis, and other First Nations communities. We also extend our thanks to Mr. Gary Ball for helping create these wonderful senior grad gifts presented last night to our Grade 12 students.

We’re already looking forward to next school year. Thank you for being such an important part of our community!
