Composition Workshop 2023! A big thank you to Lynette for making her way to North Battleford for the day. The students all really enjoyed learning how to start writing their own piano piece and were challenged in many ways. (Featured are quite a few of her books she shared with the kids)

Abiyah and I had a great time at Summer Sizzle! We met composers from all across Canada. There were composing ensembles, singing, improvising, lead sheets, pedagogy classes.

I’ve been pretty quiet on here lately so here’s an update. Had a great recital in June and wrap up classes were a blast! Was an amazing year and looking forward to a new one. So proud to be part of the wonderful MYC team 😊 🍰🎉🎊😋

What a wonderful day of composing with Peggy L’Hoir. This is one of the two groups of kids that joined us today. We all learnt so much and are looking forward to perfecting these compositions! ☺️
