25 years ago, my first day at New Horizons Montessori with my “pioneer group” of students (one of which had a birthday)a beautiful, sunny, calm day like today, my daughter Katie was starting gr.5 French immersion. Suddenly, the phone started ringing, I’ll never forget it, a peaceful morning turned into complete uncertainty…9/11. Let us never forget the sacrifices that so many people make in this war torn world.
Life is precious, be grateful, be kind and help others, nothing else matters.

May 1 is National First Responders Day in Canada 🚒🚑🚓

Every day Ottawa's First Responders put their lives and their mental health at risk for their communities. Today, and every day, we THANK THEM for this necessary yet extremely dangerous and difficult service.
