Everyone talks about the “glow” of pregnancy…
But when you have Hyperemesis Gravidarum (HG), there is no glow.

Just survival.

It’s not just “bad morning sickness.”
It’s relentless nausea.
It’s throwing up 10+ times a day.
It’s IV fluids, ER visits, meds that barely help, and trying to survive when your body feels like it’s shutting down.
It’s crying because you're hungry and crying more because you can’t keep anything down.

It can steal the joy from a time that’s supposed to be magical.
Yes, something beautiful comes from it.
But that doesn’t make the experience any less brutal.
