I can offer tutoring packets for elementary children so they can work at home and not fall behind. I work with the elementary curriculum, and have multiple resources. Scanning to your email works well too. All subjects. Great time to practice multiplication and division, improve reading and writing skills, or learn a new topic.

First day of holidays! Wishing everyone a safe and happy summer!!

Another student told her Gramma that she wants to continue tutoring this summer. It is totally flexible, based on family holidays etc. Weekly visits not required. I have the resources online and on hand to develop programs to suit the weak areas that your child may have experienced this year. It’s a great way to avoid the summer vacuum!!

If your child needs a few sessions to review difficult topics, or prepare for a head start in Sep. please contact me through Messenger. I have students from SK, grade 3, 4 and 10 already booked for the summer. Weekly visits are not necessary, if just a few catch up sessions are wanted. Summer break is great, but a huge vacuum can appear with those multiplication facts, reading and writing skills. Multiple references available.

Whoohoo, the EQAOs are almost done! Everyone has worked so hard. One month till holidays.
Already students have booked summer visits. Holidays are needed and wonderful, but two whole months does create a vacuum. Occasional visits, or returning for weekly Aug classes can help prepare your child for a great start in September. Please contact me if you would like to arrange a summer program for your child or grandchild.
If your child struggled with a certain area such as writing, or times tables, division, fractions etc. I can prepare an individualized for them.

Wishing all the Grade 3 and Grade 6 students the best on their EQAO tests this week!

Parents have been signing their children up for “ summer vacuum “ sessions. Yes, children need a break, and fun and sun, but two
full months of no math, and no writing creates a huge gap! A few sessions in August, before school begins is a great way to prepare for
learning again.
I have resources to help review weak areas like multiplication facts, writing skills and areas that needed extra attention through the year.

Right now, if your child is in grade 3 or 6, it is time to make flashcards to review formulas, facts and definitions for the multiple questions that will
appear in the EQAO booklets. Grade 6 students need to memorize formulas for area, perimeter and volume. Can they name and describe 3 D and 2 D shapes?
