“I started my fitness journey in October 2025 thinking I simply wanted to change how I looked.
At the time, I didn’t fully realize how much of myself I was trying to rebuild.
Last September, my son left for university. As proud as I was of him, anyone who has experienced that transition knows there’s a quiet grief that comes with it. The routines change. The house changes. And a part of your identity as a mother shifts overnight.
Then in February, I left my corporate role; a position and career I had poured so much of myself into for years. I didn’t just walk away from a job; I walked away from a version of myself I had deeply attached my identity to.
For a while, I felt untethered.
And somewhere in the middle of all of that change, I found myself walking into Moxie.
What started as a goal to improve physically slowly became something much deeper.
This journey became about rebuilding confidence.
Relearning who I am outside of titles, routines, and roles.
Showing up for myself even when I didn’t feel motivated.
Building discipline instead of waiting for inspiration.
Learning that strength has very little to do with appearance and everything to do with resilience.
And one of the most unexpected gifts has been the people.
I’ve had the privilege of training alongside some incredibly strong, inspiring women who are all fighting their own battles, rebuilding their own confidence, and showing up anyway.
There’s something incredibly powerful about being surrounded by women who encourage each other instead of competing with each other.
The accountability matters, but more than that, it’s the environment created here at Moxie that I enjoy most. It’s supportive, motivating, and filled with people who genuinely want to see each other succeed.
I walked in wanting to transform physically.
But the biggest transformation has been internal.
And honestly, I think that’s the version of strength I’m most proud of. ❤️💪”
