Please start looking immediately you don't hear him or her! When they get busy and quiet, their creativity is being released; big cleanup for parents, providers. He, she is just happy, looking angelic and wondering what the fuss is all about!
Totally agree :D :D

Hi family friends and well wishers,
I thank you for your kind words in texts, phone calls and Prayers. God bless you and keep you too. Here is what I can say now about the events of yesterday, it was all very surreal, like a movie about the end of the world. A sister of mine texted me at about 1:30 pm to go look outside the house, that the fire that the city had been battling since Friday last week is now in our area of town and smoke is everywhere. I quickly went out the door to look and I am being trailed by my 3- 6 yr Olds, 3 kids who are curious to know what was going on. We went outside and the sight I saw was frightening; thick cloud all around the houses and I promptly bursted into tears fearing the worst. The kids now held on to me asking what was wrong and it was then I remembered that little curious people are watching me. I quickly brushed the tears away and told them to listen carefully, that we would go wake up all the kids having their nap and get everybody to eat a quick snack and wear their outdoor shoes and put their back packs on. I also told them we would stay strong and beat this emergency situation. Kids are really smart if you handle them right. They started saying okay we would beat this, we would stay strong. They acted real matured ate a quick snack and help one another put on their backpacks . By this time parents were calling to say they were almost there for pick up.
An Angel of a Parent
A parent came in and decided to watch the kids for me while I go fill my vehicle with gas which took about an hour as the whole city was busy trying to get the same. She watched the kids and after they were all gone shut the door. I returned with a full tank of gas and picked up few belongings, locked up and left. If not for this lady called Penny Murphy Parsons I might not have been able to get out of town when I did and my friends and family would have been really disturbed. So thank you Penny, you were kind enough to delay your drive out of town for my safety, thank you.
From around 4:30pm till 2:45 am I just drove first to a safe zone till eventually driving out of town enveloped in a thick cloud of smoke. Trees, houses and what have you burning along the road, 2 gas stations exploding, wao, it was nothing short of surreal and everyone is still in a daze as to how we went from a beautiful city to an apocalyptic one under hours. While driving through a stretch of the road from the Athabasca river area to around the hospital and the area of Beacon Hill, breathing was very tortuous for me and I nearly passed out for fear of what do I do if I eventually cannot breathe , do I come out of the car and run or just keep driving? Thank God for prayers, common sense prevailed and I kept driving, praying a mile a minute, as fast as I could go in the traffic which was not moving too fast. Thankfully, it was soon over and the air quality improved. Along the way families with little kids and pets struggle to keep kids and pets calm which must not be a very easy thing to do but to God's glory there is no loss of life. God is great. As I write this all my kids and families are accounted for, my friends and families too. I have cause to thank God. I eventually stopped driving a little close to 3am, sat down in the vehicle to receive calls and texts from my many friends and people who love me for about 1 hr, tried to sleep for another hour. Got up 5am, started the car and drove for about 3 hrs before getting to a prepared shelter my City government had arranged and there I am now resting.
Important Point
Please keep on praying for us that the wind and will cooperate so the fire will stop spreading and that God will please help people who lost their houses and businesses. People of Fort MCMURRAY are extremely generous. It is really a nice community and they certainly do not deserve loss irrespective of whatever reason. My prayer is that we will find the courage to rebuild and that those who suffered losses will find help and solace. It was reported that a firefighter helping to fight the fire got news that his own house had been burned down, how does a person find the courage to continue good works with that happening? Even though we were all in the same mess my friends and parents of my daycare kids were all calling me yesterday wanting to know if I was safe and I was doing so too for fiends I had not heared from, that is the way Fort McMurray people are. I am a Christian, I believe in God but I am in a daze now and feeling sad for people. Please people keep praying for us because the economy was dealing a big blow to the community before this fire and everybody is just rattled
We were just keeping on, being brave and this devastation of a fire just wants to bury people under. Please remember that i am safe, there is nothing wrong with me jut shaken up, and worried for others but Please pray for people that they will find good help and that the community will survive. Thank you.
