Do you have an outstanding alpaca that does not meet the criteria? You can still bring them to the Prequalifier to see if you can gain entry to the show. If an alpaca has not previously qualified, the owner may register and participate in a “Prequalifier” on Friday afternoon. The participants in the Prequalifier will be divided on colour class and s*x only. The judges will select a maximum of two from each of the 7 colour groups in each s*x. Alpacas in the prequalifier that are not selected will not be shown in the CNCC on Saturday/Sunday.

$25.00 from each qualified entry will go towards the prize pool. The more entries we have, the larger the payouts will be! Entries will be judged on the usual 60% fleece/ 40% conformation standard. Negative BVDV PCR Test will be required for any alpaca on site. CLAA colour charts will be used for colour verification at check in. Ribbons will be awarded to 6th place. The age classes will be as follows:
Juveniles – 6 months to under 12 months (not many will be eligible for this class)
Yearlings – 12 months to under 24 months
Two year olds – 24 months to under 36 months
Mature – 36 months and older

The colour classes will be as follows:
white
light
fawn
brown
black
grey
multi
