We are sad to hear about the passing of Newmarket's own Mary Lou Stanton. She was once quite the "tour de force" behind all the arts culture within the Newmarket community, serving as a volunteer for the Newmarket Lions Music Festival and as president for the Newmarket and Area ORMTA and Visual and Performing Arts Newmarket.
We lost a very special person but we will remember Mary Lou in our hearts. She will be dearly missed by many whose lives she touched. Rest in peace.
