It is with heavy hearts that after 33 years serving the art community of York Region, The Newmarket School of Fine Art will be shutting down this year. ❤️🎨

So, if you have ever thought that you would come back to take a class someday the time is now!

But, we will continue to hold art classes until the end of March break. You can join any of the programs currently running.

We have had the pleasure of meeting and working with an incredibly diverse range of interesting and creative people of all ages. We feel enriched by each and every one of you.

For my part I will be furthering my own artistic pursuit and also doing some travel. Wherever that takes me. Although I will be painting full time I have far too many art supplies for one person!

So come on in and load up.

Starting January 13 all pads and drawing materials are on sale for 40% off.

Paint, canvas and brushes are 30% off.

Watercolour paper is 20% off.

Our framing sale will continue at a new reduced price of 30% off all wood mouldings. The last date to order will be March 8 to ensure delivery.

As we get ready for the quickly approaching fall season, a few updates from us;

🗓️All fall programs start on the week of September 11.

A small update from us! To give ourselves a well deserved break before the busy summer season, the school and storefront will be closed June 29 - July 10.
