Flashback Friday!

Earlier this week, Mrs. Angie, CEO of Angelic Treasures, and our supervisor, Paola, attended the Newmarket Chamber of Commerce’s Annual Mayor’s Luncheon.

They were able to hear from the mayor on the exciting things planned in our town and connect with other local business leaders to discuss about new developments within the area and how we can be part of enhancing our community.

A look back at last week’s Spirit Week!

We had an amazing Kick off to Spring Spirit Week that paired perfectly with the wonderfully hot weather last week!

We kicked it off by wearing our favourite spring pastel colours, brought our stuffies in and paired it with a matching teddy snack, sported our favourite team jersey, wore our comfiest PJs and ended off with, of course, our bake sale goodies!

Thank you to all of our families who participated and made it such a fun week!

He is Risen!

In this season, we remember that Jesus is risen and for all that He has done for us.

It’s an EGG-cellent day today!

Some of the classes have been on the hunt for eggs around the classroom! 👀 🥚

As infants and toddlers, egg hunts are great for developing their gross motor skills as they need to manoeuvre and balance their bodies high and low to reach for the eggs. It’s also wonderful for cognitive development as they gain spatial exploration skills, figuring out how many eggs their baskets can contain.

Who knew you can learn to much from such a fun activity and through play?…NOW YOU KNOW! 😉

Every Friday at 11am, all Angelic Treasures locations have chapel time. This week, we were learning about Feeling Sad and using the story of Jonah and the Whale to learn that we can talk to God when we are feeling sad.

Today, we had the big fish visit us in chapel and we pretended to be swallowed like Jonah was!

Outdoor time is equally as important in the Winter as it is in the Summer! Children are able to develop so many gross motor skills even something as simple as learning how to walk in their boots and chunky winter gear, trudging through the snow.

It’s going to be a cold one in the next few days, stay warm! ☀️
