Fine Motor Skill Activity

🩹Band-Aid the Boo-Boo’s 🩹

Our preschoolers practiced their fine motor skills using their pincer grasp skills to peel small bandaids and apply them to silhouettes of children with boo boo’s on them. They showed so much interest in taking care of the boo boo’s. Amazing work kiddos! 👏🏼

Today in our Preschool Room 2 we wrapped up the healthy body theme with a hands on activity about some major organs and parts of the human body. The children did an amazing job, had discussions and helped one another with what organs go where. We are so proud of you all!

Today, our preschoolers explored shape recognition while learning about the human body, it’s organs, etc! They worked together to decorate a human body silhouette using colorful shapes, identifying circles, squares, triangles, and hearts along the way. This hands-on activity helped them understand how different parts of the body fit together while strengthening fine motor skills, using their gross motor muscles and teamwork. A fun and creative way to continue our human body theme to life this week!

Our little are hard at work digging for dinosaur bones in our ancient sensory table excavation. It's a hands-on adventure that sparks curiosity and imagination

This week our Preschool class at Tiny Hoppers Newmarket South have been focusing on education on Anti- bullying. Educators helped the children to make posters to put in the classroom and on our notice boards. https://www.tinyhoppers.ca/newmarket-south/

This morning the toddlers at Tiny Hoppers Newmarket South named each pipe cleaner color, and put them into the strainer holes.

The children drew on plastic wrap with markers, we then placed a piece of white paper on top & sprayed it with water which caused the marker to transfer onto the paper leaving a beautiful design https://www.tinyhoppers.ca/newmarket-south/

This morning preschool 2 class at Tiny Hoppers Newmarket South planted basil seeds to observe them and water them daily. We learned what they need to grow big and tall and we are going to talk about it at circle every morning. Tiny Hoppers Newmarket South - Today in our Toddler 1 & Toddler 2 classes we made an edible volcano sensory activity out of jello, and crushed shreddies cereal. The children learnt about chemical reactions, and we also read a dinosaur book and named Different Species of Dinos. Tiny Hoppers Newmarket South - in preschool this afternoon the children discussed what happened to the ocean and we rescued the animals by cleaning up their habitat.
