Our new Holiday Fun with Friends™ Camp is the perfect way to keep kids busy, having fun and connecting with friends during those last few days before Christmas, while giving parents a little extra time to finish shopping, run errands and get ready for the holidays!

Over three festive days, campers will enjoy holiday-themed activities, games, crafts and plenty of time to connect, all within our supportive, small-group environment.

Led by a Social Worker, the camp combines all the fun of holiday camp with intentional opportunities to build confidence, practise social skills and develop friendships.

Campers can also earn friendship badges as they practise and celebrate key social skills throughout the three days.

Participants will carve or decorate their own pumpkin (age and skill dependent), then enjoy a variety of facilitated games in a fun, welcoming environment.

Friday nights at socialskilled are for Dungeons & Dragons®!

Led by an Occupational Therapist, our Dungeons & Dragons® group uses the magic of collaborative storytelling and imaginative play to work on real-life skills in a way that feels anything but clinical.

Players create characters, solve problems, make decisions together and navigate unexpected twists, naturally building skills like communication, collaboration, flexible thinking, emotional regulation, executive functioning and social confidence along the way.

And the best part? There’s always something to talk about when you’re on an adventure together.

This is where social skills get real.

Skilled to Shine™ is our Social Worker-led Social Club, giving kids a place to build confidence, strengthen friendships and practise navigating the social moments that happen when kids are actually together.

Joining a conversation. Reading the room. Being flexible. Handling disagreements. Sharing ideas. Figuring out what to do when things don’t go as planned.

Through games, activities and shared experiences, our Social Worker is there to guide and support these moments as they happen, while still keeping the experience fun, natural and social.

Because knowing the skills is one thing. Using them with other kids is where the real learning happens. 💙

All materials are provided, along with delicious holiday treats, making it the perfect opportunity to relax, get into the holiday spirit, and connect with other parents in our community.

There’s a lot happening between “your turn” and “good game.”

Games with Friends™ turns something kids already love into an opportunity to practice the skills that make being part of a group easier.

There’s strategy. Competition. Cooperation. Negotiating the rules. Coping with a loss. Celebrating someone else’s win. And plenty of laughs along the way.

For kids who sometimes find open-ended social situations tricky, games give everyone a reason to come together and something to talk about, taking some of the pressure off connecting with peers.

No awkward small talk required. Just games, good company and lots of opportunities to build confidence around other kids.

Building skills, confidence, and teamwork through play!

Sports with Friends™ is a recreation-based social program designed to help children develop foundational sports skills while practicing important social skills like cooperation, communication, turn-taking, flexibility, and teamwork in a supportive small-group environment.

Participants are introduced to a variety of sports and movement-based activities while building confidence, making connections, and having fun with peers along the way.
