How is January going? I have been pretty consistent with my daily practice!
I have to admit that sometimes I find it hard to practice every day if I don’t have any gigs coming up! Things that seem more urgent go usually first. However, it’s veeeery important as a musician to find time to play every day, or at least 5 days a week. You get good at your craft by doing it over and over. The daily progress looks very slow but over time magic happens!
Go practice fellow musicians!!
By the way, this music is called The Cradle, a Larry Young’s original. I included this piano arrangement (written by George Winston) in my EP Seasons as a representation of the winter. You can find it in all digital platforms! 😊

This is from a performance back in May at 2nd Floor Gastown in Vancouver.
This piece is called Pandora. I was very young when I wrote it and I was inspired by the Greek Myth of Pandora. The piece describes the very moment when Pandora opens the box and all the evils spread through the world…
